DB Prayer Ministry

We meet Every Sunday night @ 6 PM in the breezeway

All are welcome, come as you are! This is a safe place!

We love being intimate with God, and being in His Presence! Prayer group is about learning how to share this experience with our brothers and sisters in Christ! Together we are learning how to trust God for our ALL our needs and hearts desires. Gods word tells us to go to Him FIRST and ask, seek, and knock! Our God is so faithful! Time with our church family worshiping and praying to Him is the best way to start the week!

We begin with fellowship and collect prayer request and praise reports

We start our prayer time with a worship song and will worship in song again in the middle of our prayer time. “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!”

Psalm 100:4 ESV

We pray for the staff, church members, and every ministry and at DBCC. We pray for everyone and everything on our prayer list. All in attendance can pray openly and can request prayer for themselves and their loved ones.

If anyone needs healing physically, emotionally, relationally, or spiritually, they can share their struggle in confidence. They can be anointed with oil and prayed over at the end of prayer time.

Our dedicated Elder Bryan Newsome and his wonderful wife Carolyn attend regularly.

“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

James 5:14-16 ESV

((All prayer requests, and everything shared during prayer time is extremely confidential and will not be repeated!))

You can add a prayer to our list on our web site, by filling out the form on the back of the seats during service, or call the church office.

(please keep us updated and share praise reports, we are in this battle with you and we love you!)

Matthew 6:9 -15, “Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
